Introducing Snipers Girls Lacrosse

 

The Snipers are pleased to announce the addition of girls summer tournament teams to its program for the 2016 season. We will field teams at the U11 (3rd and 4th grade), U13 (5th and 6th grade), and u15 (7th and 8th grade) age groups, including an extended season team at the U15 level for those players who have decided to commit more full time to the sport and want to practice in the fall and winter and play in fall, winter as well as summer events.

The girls program is headed by Stephanie Lannon, a Swampscott native and the women's lacrosse and field hockey coach at Salem State University.

Initial practices/evaluations for interested candidates will be held on 8/20 and 8/27 from 6-8pm at Shore Country Day. 

If you are interested in being evaluated for a spot on one of our girls clubs for the 2016 season, please complete the evaluation form (linked below) and attend the sessions for your age group. There is no cost to practice and be evaluated but you must complete the form (linked below) and provide a US lax number valid through 8/31.

Port City Challenge, Portsmouth NH             June 25, 26

NE Youth All-Star, Devens MA                       July 9, 10

practices begin in June.

 

In addition to the events above, the extended season U15 club is expected to play in:

Fall Frenzy @ Devens                                     November 8, 2015

Boston Strong @ Forekicks, Taunton            February 27, 28

and have additional practice time in October, January and February.
