SNYL participates in MYL’s Select Lacrosse Program.  This Program offers an additional playing opportunity for our more experienced and committed 5th & 6th, and 7th & 8th Grade players.  The Select Program can enhance their love for the game and improve their lacrosse skills through competitive games with surrounding towns.

• Select teams play on Friday in addition to their regular SNYL Classic games on Sunday.
• The Select Lacrosse Program practice & game schedule does not conflict with the SNYL Classic Program weekly practice & Sunday game schedule. 
• Players choosing to play on an MYL Select Lacrosse team MUST also play on their town’s traditional MYL Town team. 
• If you do not play in the previous week's Sunday CLASSIC TOWN game, you cannot play in your SELECT game that week. 

THE KEY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SELECT AND CLASSIC/ TOWN TEAMS IS THAT PLAYTIME IS NOT EQUAL NOR GUARANTEED. PLAYTIME IN SELECT IS BASED ON SKILL AND ATTITUDE AS JUDGED BY THE COACH.
