As we prepare for the upcoming spring lacrosse season, we're thrilled to announce that tryouts for our 5/6 and 7/8 Select Teams will occur next month! We split tryouts across two days to minimize conflicts and give our lacrosse players two opportunities to show their skills. Choose one or both days—it's up to you!

Location: Phillips Park’s Blocksidge Field (Turf)

• Session #1: Saturday, November 16, 10am - 12pm

• Session #2: Sunday, November 17, 2pm - 4pm

This early tryout is a fantastic opportunity for us to create a team sooner and for our players to come together with extra practice time before our typical March start.

What is the Select Program?

Our Select program is tailored for girls eager to enhance their skills and compete at a higher level. It includes a seven-game regular season, playoffs, and recorded scores. We’re looking to form a roster of about 20 dedicated players.

Commitment is Key to our Success:

• Playing Time: While we aim to ensure that all players get game time, it’s important to note that coaches will determine playing time based on skill, attitude, and attendance.

• Attendance: Regular participation in practices and games is mandatory. Players should prioritize their commitment to the Select team over other extracurricular activities.

• Understanding Conflicts: We recognize that unforeseen conflicts may arise, such as religious obligations or family emergencies, but consistent attendance is crucial for the team’s cohesion and success.

Practice and Game Schedule:

Practices will likely be held alongside the Classic Team on Tuesday or Thursday evenings, allowing for streamlined training for all players. Games will take place on Friday evenings, both at home and away.
